What happens when you get in touch.
The first conversation is a conversation, not a sales pitch. We ask about your home, how you use the kitchen day to day, and what is not working for you now. From there, we explain how the process works and give you an honest sense of investment before anything is decided.
An initial phone conversation costs nothing. If it makes sense to take the next step, we visit your home to see the space itself, the light, the flow and how you live in it, because a kitchen designed well starts with the actual space, not a showroom floor.
That visit is $250 plus GST, which covers our time and the fuel to reach you, and there is no obligation to proceed afterwards.

Where we work.
Design Suite Kitchen Design is based in the Bay of Plenty and works with homeowners across Tauranga, Mount Maunganui, Papamoa and Te Puke, and into Whakatane and the Waikato, including Morrinsville and Cambridge.
Kate visits most clients at home, because the light, the flow and the way one room leads to another are easier to read in the space itself than in a showroom. For clients who prefer to meet at a studio, there are two, by appointment only.

What happens after I get in touch?
We read every enquiry personally. Within two business days, we reply to arrange a first conversation, either by phone or in your home, to talk through your project and how you live in the space. There is no pressure and no obligation at this stage.
Do you charge for the first conversation?
A phone conversation to talk through your project costs nothing. If we then arrange a visit to your home, that visit is $250 plus GST, which covers our time and travel expenses to get there. It is a genuine, unhurried look at your space, not a sales call, and there is no obligation to proceed afterwards.
Do you work outside Te Puke and Tauranga?
Yes. Alongside Tauranga, Mount Maunganui, Papamoa and Te Puke, we work across the wider Bay of Plenty, into Whakatane, and into the Waikato, including Morrinsville and Cambridge. We travel for the right project.
Do I need a builder lined up before I contact you?
No. Many clients start with nothing more than an idea. We guide you through what is needed, and where the kitchen sits within a wider renovation, we coordinate that through project management integration.
